I’m an artist based in Harpswell, Maine, though my story begins in Rhode Island. For years, Maine called to me—the slower pace, rugged coastline, and deep sense of place. In 2017, I finally made the move.

I still remember driving over the Piscataqua River Bridge, crossing into Maine as a resident for the first time. There was a deep exhale—a feeling of certainty, relief, and unmistakable home. I’ve never felt more grounded or inspired than I do here.

I’ve always enjoyed painting in my spare time, but in 2023, after a tech layoff, painting became something more. During that uncertain season, I found peace in capturing the familiar scenery around me. What began as a creative outlet soon took on deeper meaning and purpose.

Maine’s natural beauty and strong sense of community continue to shape my work. I’m especially inspired by the shared appreciation for this beautiful state, and the overwhelming support for local makers who create with so much heart and intention.

In my painting, I focus less on what I’m painting and more on how it feels. Using acrylics and blocks of color, I aim to capture fleeting, cherished moments—the quiet pauses and emotions that make time slow down and life in Maine so special. Above all, my goal is to connect with others through shared experience and art.
