I understand that a certain place or scene can evoke wonderful memories and emotions, and for me that is how my painting journey all began. Sometimes, words are not enough to express how we feel, and I believe a painting can capture those feelings and speak volumes.

MITCHELL FIELD (Harpswell ME) | truly enjoyed painting this unique perspective of Mitchell Field. The moody tones were a perfect way to ease into the colder months and find inspiration again. I appreciate my clients for trusting me to capture this special shot for which they provided the most beautiful inspiration photo.
ST LAWRENCE SUNSET (Quebec CA) | I loved painting this special storied place as a commissioned birthday gift for Janet, whose family has owned a camp at this location in Quebec for generations. The expansive views and dramatic sunset skies in contrast to the sweet little island allowed me to experiment with a bit more value contrast and I am so happy that this is going to bring fond memories to my client year round.
BASIN POINT (Harpswell ME) | I was so honored to be asked to paint a mini of the beautiful view from a family's property in Harpswell Maine. This was given as a birthday gift from a mother to her daughter. What a thoughtful gift to cherish for years to come.
SUNSET BAY (Oregon Coast) | Oh my, the beautiful colors of the Pacific Coast! When I was asked to do this commission (last one of 2024!) I immediately felt inspired, not only by the magical scene I would be painting, but more-so by the emotion and connection this family has to the location. On this one, the request was for ‘something to sit on a shelf’ and my mind went immediately to this perfectly sized and versatile cradled wood panel. I loved the composition of the reference picture and it was such a joy to paint!
PINKHAM ISLAND REFLECTIONS (Harpswell ME) | What an absolute joy to meet one of my collectors and be asked to paint this very special commission of a place so meaningful to her family. Pinkham Island provides a magnificent view from Potts Point… the way the sun reflects off the glittery rock, the island casting its reflection in the water, the subtle ripples in the tide... I loved my client’s idea to paint in a long portrait instead of landscape which allowed me to focus on the beautiful simplicity of the great big sky.
HONEYMOON DOCK (Bath, Maine} | I loved painting this commission for a sweet couple who honeymooned in mid-coast Maine and wanted to capture the beautiful Fall view from the dock where they stayed. I experimented with a brighter palette and am loving the happy and relaxing vibes this scene brings. I feel honored to have been chosen to capture this special memory.
PORTLAND HEAD LIGHT (Portland ME) | I loved capturing this simple landscape showcasing Portland Head Light from a day of my client's exploring the Maine coast while on their honeymoon...the color of the skies in contrast to the water in the reference picture were the best type of soothing combo... I truly enjoy capturing your memories and hearing your stories!
CARD COVE (Harpswell ME) | I was so honored to be chosen to create a painting of Card Cove, a place that holds a special meaning to the person this was gifted to. The stunning and vibrant blues were an absolute joy to capture, and the icing on the cake was hand delivering and being able to see Chris open this lovely gift from his wife. Such a beautiful moment <3 
FORT PICKERING LIGHTHOUSE (Salem MA) | A beautiful and thoughtful wedding gift from the parents of a special couple who got engaged at this location. The cherry on top was a very sweet note from the bride who had installed it the morning after her wedding in her new home!
BLUEBERRIES FOR VIVIENNE | A special gift to a couple who welcomed a baby girl with a blueberry theme...how sweet! I was so honored to be able to create this and was thrilled to hear how perfectly it fit in Vivienne's nursery. <3
